Assuming there is no problem for you with bow draw weight at 30":

Does it become uncomfortable, suddenly hard towards the end of your draw ?(stacking) if so, a longer bow is generally smoother. If you feel comfortable & the bow feels smooth, up to you

I say this because if your only concern is damage to the bow due to draw length vrs bow length , don't be, as that side of it makes no diff if the bow is 58" or longer  :D

yeah your right about that axe. trad bows are all different just like people. some of them look good on the outside but put them under some pressure and they turn to s##t. others may seem less impressive but pull through under tough circumstances nonetheless. even though what i just wrote is hotair  i will also say that if it shoots fine then dont worry - this is about having fun right?

ps: what make and poundage is the bow mate?

not sure mate - i think its the drinking water over here.
(actually i had nothing better to do than ramble at the time), but anyway i think that you would be hard pressed to find a factory bow that doesnt stack a bit past 30", as they are all pretty much designed for the average person (28" draw - perfect form - "standard" shaped hands etc.) - so i reckon dont worry about it hey, if it shoot it shoots.

ps: what make and poundage is it?????? :?:
