At the end of next year, i was hoping that for my 18th birthday i would be able to head up north and get amongst the buffalo and scrub bull...

now to my questions. firstly, does anyone here know of any outfitters that are decent in price and succes?

Has anyone tried the Arafura wilderness lodge?

what sort of equipment would you reccomend for both the bow (arrows, heads, etc. im gonna have a 70# vulcan by then hopefully) and also if i need to look into backups in case i p!$$ one of them off?

any hints and reccomendations would be greatly appreciated...

thanx, wazza

in ref to arafura,id call cashy from bhdu mag,he has been there himself.

best to ask for personal refereces from ppl who have been to any guided operation ur interested in.

ask lots of questions

ask what did u get for ur money, whats the food and accomadation like,is it fully guided or do the guides hunt as well, how many hunters in a camp, any trophy fees,is it totally bowhunting only, game numbers like, etc etc....

cheers pat :)
