Some of you who check out the AT forum may have read some threads about this STS system. As I didn't like the look of the usual STS units that are currently being sold, I thought I would give this a go. Also $35 AUD to you door was too tempting. THis unit is very well made and attached in under 1 minute. The rubber dampner is well positioned on the string and when you purchase you get a spare dampner. Whereas prior I thought my bow was quiet, this thing works wonders and now at the shot all is heard is a vey dull soft thud. For those of you thinking about a STS for your bow I can highly recommend this one. If you do a search on "Vibe Killer" on the AT forum you will see it is being manufactured by a guy with the handle "coolhandluke" and you PM him if interested. Thus far there seems to be no change in the POI at 20m however, have yet to shoot it at any longer distances. I have attached a few pics. :D :D

I'm sure they are a great product and work well.
Just be careful if you have a large brace height and no back stabilizer attachment hole.

I've tried a similar though not as solid looking unit and since my bow has a 9 inch brace and no rear hole I could barely reach the cables let alone the string.

Can't fault the concept though. :D

G'day RK notwithstanding that mine has a 7" brace, this thing has a lot of adjustment and by loosening two grub screws you can extend the bar about 2" which would seem adequate for your brace. Also others with higher braces are easily accommodated. The no back hole in the riser could be a problem, though, but no doubt if you PM the maker, (ID in original thread) he may have some suggestions. :D :D
