Sticky- How is it determined

Why is it that some classifieds are posted as Stickys? why aren't all classifieds treated equally?

I understand that if I pay to run or own the site, I can do what I want, Adam part of ownership / sponsor? Or is it a mate thing?

I really might be way off the mark here Axe and I'm sure that I'll be loudly shouted down if I am :lol: , but, it is honestly my thought that it's not too much for Admins/Mods or even sponsors to be able to post their items as stickies in the classifieds section given the 'behind the scenes' efforts that have been, and are, put in by such peoples.

In the case of Adam and I (let's be honest it's us whom you're referring to; Oh and BTW I made Adams ASAT post a sticky, not him) I certainly don't think it's too much at all! :shock: No offense mate, but if you knew the half of what we've put into this site over the length of it's existence (and there are some long serving members who do have a good idea) then I'm sure you'd agree ;)

No, I was certainly referring to Adam, as in my post I think I covered owners & sponsers when I asked was Adam one of these, didn't see him on the sponsers list. Also, I was pretty sure you made Adam's ad a sticky, that's why I asked was it a mate thing.

BTW...If nothing else, I am always honest :)

Thanks for that Luke, but I would like my asat add to be not a sticky as it does clog the classifieds up a bit. Ill be posting stuff in there on a weekly basis so it won't slip away mate.

Axe you could say IÃ*m a sponsor since I paid for the Bowgroup add in bhdu, but I isnÃ*t looking for no special privileges just want to run my add, which I ran past the admin team first.
