I was in the right place at the right time last week and managed to score some peices of wood off my girlfriends old man that I thought would make some nice "Trad" looking bow racks,,,,,,,, so after 9 hours of work I ended up with these crackers

It looks like the botton bow is going to get cought in the door but because it sticks out a bit it misses the door by a inch or so and thats the only place that i have for it ? till i get a bigger trophy room 8)

This is the second one, I have to put it up yet but I thoght id show ya's what it looks like anyway

That's Great work that is I love the antlers on the second one , I have made similar bow racks in the past from nice cast Rusa antlers and they look great , but I didn't have such great wood as you have there to work with , what is it ? It almost looks like huon pine.

Without wanting to hijack your post , are there any other nice bow racks out there you guys would like to share , I know there are some very handy guys on this site.

AS they look great I love both of them but the antler one is sweet.
First look it looks like Red Gum, but then again Steely might be on the money to but then again what do I know

Top job non the less.

Wow! nice addition to any room, they would almost present a bow well enough to get it into the lounge room.

Ben I hope you have good anchor pionts behind the rack or it''ll pull that gyprock wall down.

Really nice job mate I like the grain and stain you used.

Adam I keep forgetting how far behind those sandgropers are in the building game.

we use the bricks over here Wayno coz we have heaps of sand and clay for making bricks. We use the gyprock in transportable homes and kit homes.
