I was trying to concentrate at work the other day (mission Impossible)  so i decided it was best to sneak off early. As i arrived home i thought to myself it was a good idea to pick my self up grab the bow and go for a shot.

I arrived at my destination at proceeded to a spot were i had seen a fox the week previous whilst fishing.

I positioned my self against a tree that had a fallen branch and a fair bit of bracken in front of it i was well concealed and had a full vision of the area.

I started whistling and with in 5 minutes a large male fox trotted out from some blackberries. As i pivoted to get a clear shot at him he sensed something was wrong but still stood his ground must of been hungry. i drew my bow and gave out a little growl which stopped him in his tracks released and lights out mr fox. He ran about 10 meters and expired.

So all in all best way to finish my day was stoked

Now does any body know how i can get the pic off my mobile to post it? :? :? :?

It depends on the mobile. with some you can send it to your Pc via a cable (if you have one). With others you have to set up an e-mail account and e-mail it to your PC (I think).

P.S. Well done!

Best way I could think of ending a crappy day at work with bagging a fox.
Huge congrats to you.

Well done mate. They are a very rewarding quarry to bring down. How was the skin? Worth taking or not?
I'm almost hestiant to try for anymore foxes at my local spot until winter when their skins are worth taking.

Keep at it mate.
When it happens it will happen so fast you won't have time to think about it. It gets easier after that.

I haven' shot a fox either and all i need is to be in the location where there are a few.Got goats, pigs and a wabbit but no fox yet although i have had a shot at 1 once.Right height just a bit to the right  There was no one in earshot but i did let loose a stream of profanities immediately after it.
I have made several whistles and reckon ive got that sussed. It sounds the same as the guys on the dvd's anyway
