i have just got 24 silver wood shafts and was wondering if they are any good for hunting i am fletching them with 5inch sheild cut fethers. these arrows are for my 60# recurve witch had to go back to the shop befor i evern got to have 1 shot :cry: . any feed back would be good thanks :D

i got them from bows arrows and bits and they were $34 a dz

silverwoods are the best shafts I know of.

We can get silverwoods here sometimes. They are by far the best wood shaft I have found. Almost as good as a carbon for weight and spine tolerences.

Ive got a set of silverwoods come in around 540 grains with a 160 grain broadhead, good solid hunting arrows a bit light but do the job . Silverwoods are a very impressive arrowshafts . regards Perry

I had a dozen silverwoods at one stage(there all gone lost and broken now :cry: )......

and they were rated for a 45# bow.I used them in a 45# then a 52# bow and then in a 60# bow and they flew well in every bow .
