Went out for a walk down my local creek tonight with the predator call and my recurve as i decided to bring it back out from retirement. I climbed a small peppertree for my first whistling spot and after 15 mins i gave up and moved on.

Here is the view from my stand in the tree.

I tried this several more times moving allong a few hundred meters at a time but it seemed the closest i was going to get to a fox were some prints in the sand.

On my way home i stopped into a scrub where there were a lot of bunnies. After a quick walk i noticed a little red flag in amongst some sticks which was the sun on the back of a rabbits ear. I slowly circled it as it was squatted in tight and diddn't look like moving. The closer i got the lower he got into his squat. when i reached about 3m i drew the samick hunter back aimed and released to send a carbon shaft through him. I am stoked as he is only the seccond rabbit i have taken with the curve.

Here are the pics. I love the black and white one really makes the camo work.

And as i left the scrub the thunderclouds are starting to brew up a bit.
