G’day all

I having a bit of a problem with grouping and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. When I go to group I get two separate groups, one on the aiming point and one to the right. While group size is OK (2-3”@20) one is to the right about 4” at 20m and this is consistent across all ranges (ie about 9” to the right at 50m). There isn’t any particular order that the grouping occurs (ie it’s not the first or last shots of the group) and I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing to cause it. Has anybody had anything similar and if so what was it and how did you solve it?

are all your arrows matching and the same spine :?:

Tj here's a hint

Shoot all your arrows
Then mark the ones that stray from the point of aim. Also check if there has been any contact between the shafts/fletches and the arrow rest. If yes correct contact problem. if not go to next step.
Shoot them all again in a mixed up order then see if the same ones are straying.
If yes then try rotating your nocking point a few degrees at a time and see if they pull back into the point of aim group.

I did this once and it fixed a couple of strays I had.

Other then that I have no idea

Had a friend do the same thing when he shot with two eyes open, when he shot with one eye closed there was only one group. He tended to "wander"with his eye dominance. Give it a try it might help.

Thanks guys

The arrows are all the same spine from the same batch.

Good idea about checking if the same arrows are doing the same thing I will check it over the next few days, but the number in each group is not always the same so I don't think that this will be it. As the shaft or fletching hitting the rest I use a WB so any ideas on how to tell if this is a problem would be appreciated.

Could be the eyes, I'm pretty sure I only use one eye but I will use a patch to see if there is any difference. This could definitely be the culprit as I think it's more likely to be form related rather than tuning, but I cant be sure.

1. Hand grip and release.
2. Centershot, try moving the rest a smig. in the direction of the biggest group.

I've found my groups change when I've been concentrating on grouping for ,say 2 hours.
Thats when I've found it's time to call it a day.
