Well im 15,lol, just wanted to see if there are any hunters around my age .
There is one other young forum member that I got into archery late last year who's 14 but he's just been to flat out with his HSC to be able to get out and shoot.
So for now I'd say that your the youngest forum member here.

Junior, ( No disrespect meant by shortening your handle)
I think there are a couple fellas on here in there twenties, but hey, most of us are young at heart. I started go'n bush with my dad when I was 8, first kill a rabbit at 10 with .22 rifle, then started to use a bow, first goat (kid goat) at ten, billy at 12 blaa blaa bla :)
I have a young'n couple of yrs older than you, others on here probably have also, even younger, my point is, the oldies, (& I not so old) will relate and help you all we can (unless you play that rap crap  )
It is (I feel I can speak for all, I hope I can) very important to our sport & ourselves that young people like yourself remain interested, learn as you go, and stay in the sport, thereby promote the sport and encourage other young'ns to participate. So, Junior, we're here if you need assistance.
:D
Good on ya Junior good to see you in the sport mate, what got you started in this past_time.
I'm a young 24 mate
Hey man 16 young enough for you? IĆ*m just here learning off all u other blokes and enjoying the stories and photo's and sharing mine.

same macka,
I've learnt so much already and ive only been on this site not even a month. Yeh mate, young enough. lol im only 15.
Well adam,
I used to hunt and still do hunt with a rifle but I saw a few bowhunting videos and decided to give it a go, I then realised that it is a much challenging sport then using a rifle and also the reward of bagging an animal with a bow is much more exciting. Overall, i just love it
what got u into bowhunting?

Sound like your in it for the right reasons, I Started much the same as you.
I was 16 at the time when I first seen a real bow, When I was about 14 I usta chase rabbits with a bent piece of bambo with arrows much the same.
I've been living and breathing bowhunting ever since, its always felt natural to me like a past-time thats never worn off since the dawn of man.
Its great to see so many guys getting into bowhunting, its like we have had this huge boost, every week theres new guys coming into teh sport of bowhunting. Our club has new comers every week.
Hey Junior and Macka...did you know the two most "senior" hunters/members on this site are probably among the youngest?
I'm talking about Adam and I, we're 24 and 26 respectively  ...
So there you go boys, don't under rate your selves because you're young :D
Luke ;)
Hey thanks Luke I have been bow hunting for over two years and in that time have managed 3 deer and about 55 goats. (just from counting game in photo's) but I am learning more and more each time I look on this site. I have been shooting rabbits and foxes with my father now for all my life because of the fact we are on the farm. I got into it because a relation of mine is a keen bow hunter and I had a few shots at his place and was hooked next thing on top of the xmas list was a compound bow! I then got my mate who was a rifle man into it and now i have a keen hunting partner. I really love the challenge of it all. U guys are doing a great job with the sight and I would be one very bored boy without it thank you heaps ! :) :)
Macka
Still learning too

My Step-son (15 yrs old) and wife had never touched a bow unil I got here. Now he shoots my old backup bow and I bought my wife her own bow. They shoot fairly regularly with me now. They say they love to shoot targets for fun but would never hunt, and thats good enough for me.
Bill
My boy is 11 and is mad keen on hunting, hasn't taken anything yet but just loves being in the bush with me.
I'm getiing old, i'm 20. its all down hill from here
