Hey guys, Getting my gear organised for a trip to toomba station soon chasing chital, having trouble deciding which outbacks to use ? I have them both shooting good but have noticed the hunters are a bit noiser then the supremes. I could go for the wider cut which is a bit noisy or the thinner cut that is quieter, what would you do ? My set up, Hoyt ultra-tec 65# st axis 400's 25 1/2" long with 125 grain broadhead, total weight 400gn. Does anyone know if there is somthing you can do to the hunters to get them a bit quieter ?

On chital you want mega stealth... go the supremes mate ;) I would anyways :P

You can get the hunters in the stealth model that are very quiet. No vents means no noise.

I would definitely go with the Supremes (quieter as you said) just bear in mind that the supremes go back past the arrow insert so take that into consideration with your arrow rest/shaft length as it can interfere with some rests.

Supremes will also give you better penetration even if you happen to hit bone...

Or you can do yourself a favour and buy some slick tricks. I see they now have em on ebay...not knocking the local stuff..but these things fly great and do a very impressive job on soft skinned game.. :D

BTW if interested "Jeffro" on this site can also fix you up with some very cheap new "Magnus" heads..both screw in and stick on in various blade configerations and weights... :D
