Since they wont let me shoot my carbons at the upcoming trad events I have been forced into the shed again to make some sawdust and I made these up.I stained these instead of painting and love the results.

Kim they are beautiful, I like the splicing. Is that serving you have used instead of paint for the cresting?

Yer Gnome it is fishing rod binding I find it easier to get the lines nice and straight on wooden shafts that are a bit wobbley this way and it gives them a nice trad look I think.

Thanks guys for all the great feedback.Rory I know you had some probs setting up your Mathews and I think from your Avator pic you need to try some changes.I think you need to turn your bow arm out more so the inside of your elbow is straight up and down and the bow should rest on the meaty bit at the base of your thumb and not in your palm.Try to only hold the bow with your thumb and pointer finger and fold the other fingers up so they are not around the bow.I helped a fair few guys set their Mathews up at the club and I found that the Mathews HATE to be held and will result in a left tear if you do so.OOOOR just go back to the curve and leave the evil compounds alone. :D
Cheers KIM
 Kim (don't wanna sway this thread bout the arra's off course) but I've leart all this over the last couple of weeks since that pic 8)
