This hunt took place several years ago with Mic Lehmann. We were hunting pigs with our stick bows in Australias north. I spotted a set of ears laying under a blown over tree, crept up to about 10 yards set up the video and pushed the record button, took a few more steps that put me in the 5 yard mark, settled - drew - focused and released. The dingo headed directly away from me, several seconds went past and there was a horrible racket. It would appear there was only one exit and he came barrelling back straight at me, I did pack pedal quite smartly and as the footage clearly shows I ran back past the camera with the dog on my heels. He folded under some pandanus and we all had a good laugh at my expence. That was until Michael stalked a boar on the flood plain, he set up the camera and in he went. Michael had not a stitch of cover, the boar must of seen him coming, upon the arrow impacting his chest, the boar was straight onto him and gaining by the second, Mic was doing a fantastic run over the uneven black soil whilst watching to boar close in. I was too far way to do anything but laugh. Mic runs past one side of the camera and the boar the other. I have all this on video and everytime I watch it - I get a great laugh. Lets hear some more stories.
