Well Willy, does this count for "BUCK FEVER". I know for myself every time i draw back i am as nevous as a queer eating a hotdog :lol: , i reckon the same for most people here.

Dare I say it, when I started out bowhunting it was about food not trophys, so I guess failure ment hunger, or worse Ox tounge etc.

Not sure there is a proven simple answer to "buck fever' only to say what would the hunt be without the rush ?

I love the sound of my heart beating so loud you think for sure the critter your stalking is going to hear it, and I am much more comfortable hunting the big scarys than the more timid species of critters, some things are hard to uninstall I guess.... I see deer I see dinner.. I see boar I look for tusks etc... I see Scrub Bull I look for tree :P....

Mind you I do have trouble Hunting after seeing a Large nasty Snake, seem to spend alot of time looking at the ground then ! thats cost me some good Game at times... :oops:
