Just out of curiousity, does anyone here use any type of cover scents at all. I just got some of mate at work from the States. It's a Spring scent for cover up of human body odours. Would like to know if anyone has used them here in Aus & what where the results.

Hi mate
I haven’t used any soaps or sprays but I heard that keeping your hunting camo in a pile of gum leaves masks human scent a little. But how do you test some thing like that? So I think it’s just like your signature says, keep the wind in your face. You cannot go wrong if you do that. Scent cover will give you that little bit of forgiveness, but your eyeballs emit human scent. There is no way to mask it all………
I have used a few brands, mostly just expermenting. They do work if applied right and if your stationary, otherwise and walking etc the sweat just overcomes the spray.

Should be worth a try mate, I have had good success with cover scents while walking to teh blind or stand, then spraying once over with eliminator type scent once in position for the day.
Try cutting an onion spray it and smell it. You soon know gimick from real deal.
What brand you using.

Some from Will Primo, scent blocker range. I get it dirt cheap from the boys i work with from the States.
