View Full Version : 50-60 Pound Take Down Recurve

hi every one, i a will be making a 50 to 60 pound take down recurve bow.
I will be attaching sights, quiver and an arrow rest to this bow.
I will be starting on it in about 6 months, until then i am going to learn as much as i can about bow making.

I am not 100% Sure what i will be making this bow out of, but the 2 options i am thinking of now are: Orange Osage and Hickory. But if any one has any suggestions please tell me

Ausbow also have some info on making recurve limbs. hey don't make them any more but have all the bits if you want to make one.
