Hi there.
I have found that my cable slide has a slight crack in it, and I won't be able to get my hands on another for about two weeks.
I'm going hunting in a month and it is necessary for me to set up my sight.
will shooting without the slide on for half a morning going to cause much damage? or should I just wait and set it up later?
Thanks in advance

hey mate i think youl find that your arrow will clip the string and you wont be able to shoot strait if you have a picture of the slide it will help
is there any way you can glue it
jesse :D

Thanks.
I should be able to glue it. I shot a few rounds with it after I noticed it had cracked and it seemed to hold up fine.
I just purchased a slide online (its a crap bow so it doesn't really matter), should get it in 10 days.

Turns out I don't need to set it up.
Just bought a Bowtech Allegiance and sold the old one to my apprentice.
I'll just have to set up my new one instead

Did you fix the cable slide before you sold it to him?

He hasn't paid for it yet.
He owes me 200 for something else, which he'll pay this week, then 200 a week for the next two, so by the time he pays for it I'll have the new slide and have it on for him.
He's an alright kid, a little lost though
