Gdays guys, im looking for a place not to far from home to try a bit of door knocking. For those who live near the sydney area, im looking to try around Picton or Tahmoor. Any towns not to far from there or any areas bordering Nattai National park would be great. I just came back from a school retreat there and the guy who ran it mentioned rusa deer on his property. Too bad he's an anti hunter. Im just looking for a place for foxes mainly. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.
Thankyou
Justin

I spoke to a guy today, he lives in a suburb around Windsor, apparently there are small blocks, around the 150 acres or so. His property adjoins some scrubby areas, and he told me that red deer feed out in the afternoons. And they aren't all that scared when he drives his tractor past them. There is also fallow deer in that area. I cant remember the exact location where he lives but this might help when sussing out some areas. He as seen no huge stags there, but if he does I might have to have a looksie. Howie

I can easily find out where he lives, he gave me permission to hunt there, but I am waiting to hear if there are any real big stags. Keep in touch as I will let you know the areas you might be able to try and gain access. Always happy to help out Howie
