Most species in a day

Was wondering how many different species you fellas have shot in one day.

I have this hunting fantasy when one day i wake up, a quick walk find pigs and drop 1, then after lunch looking for goats then bagging one, then whistling for a fox and plug him too then as the sun is setting whack a bunny next to its warren (ohh its good to have an imagination. )

Anyone ever done anything similar?

Couple of pigs, billy, and a dog fox in a day, now I want to go hunting.
rabbits and a cat in an afternoon.
Cat and a fallow buck.
Done pigs and goats a far few times in a day now.

The fallow deer and the cat was the most out of place for me, pigs and goats is pretty common for most.

The best I have ever done is a rabbit then a bunny and then a cotton tail then a poor mans mutton and tehn one of those little fury critters. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Have never been lucky enought to take more then one species in a day.

And can't say that I have ever had a fantasy like that. (taking different game that is) but it would be nice if it ever did happen. Guess it's a case of being in the right place at the right time.

one fine winter arvo last year i got 2 foxes and a bunny in the space of 2 hours so i was pretty happy. :D

HAHAH!!! That totally cracked me up.

For me its: Granite, Basalt, Sandstone, Quartz, Mica etc etc.

A goat and a rabbit in one day is the best for me :lol:

On club hunt took large billy with broken horn,took a good boar following the blood trail to the goat.
Heading back to vehicle took another two billies and a fox.young hunter 12 year old took 2 goats and a pig and just before dark he got a feral cat.

The next morning young hunter took a rabbit next to a pile of pushed up logs,went to retreive it and fox came out of log and nicked the rabbit and bolted back into the logs.The look on the boys face was priceless. :wink:

About 15 year ago I took 3 rabbits by 8:00, a cat by 9:00, a fox by 11:00 , 2 goats by 3:00, a speckled black and white boar at about 5:00 and 13 good Redfin (English Perch)out of the creek near the hut that arvo. I have never had a day like it since..... Scott
