View Full Version : Eberlestock Backpacks
G'day everyone,
The time has come to upgrade my backpack & the Eberlestock X1 looks like a good option because it has all the features i'm after in a hunting pack, however I can't seem to find any reviews on this model and the retailers in my area don't stock them so I haven't been able to see them up close. I was wondering if anyone out there owns the X1 pack and can give me some more info on what they are like (mainly in terms of quality, comfort & practicality).
Cheers,
Welcome aboard mate :P
I think if you check out the Bowhunting Down Under mag an edition or two ago there was a review of one.
BTW would you mind dropping by the new members forum, reading and posting your agreeance to the posting and conduct rules?
cheers,
Luke
I think Ern Webbs in wollongong might sell them, so you could have a look at them there :)

Thanks Guys,
I've been in contact with Stager Sport about 2 weeks ago but they wouldn't tell me if they had the X1 pack in stock or even give me a rrp??? Instead they passed me onto Ern Webbs who has been looking into it for me ever since (with no info yet). I have since been in touch with Eberlestock in the states and they were more helpful, they actually gave me a price and said they will be shipping to Stager Sport in about 3-4 weeks.
I'll have to get my hands on that magazine article before I decide whether or not to purchase the X1 pack.
helo Miga, I own a X1 it cost me about $230AU. It took about three months for my local gun shop to land one for me but it was worth the wait. They are excellent quality and come with a lifetime guarantee. :D
It's execellent to wear light and sits well. The only things I don't like is I can't make my bow sit right (Proberly just me  ) and you have more weight on one side because the quick draw strap which has the bow weight on it. As I said it proberly just me a little bit of tinkering might fix this up. Overall I love it and I would buy another if I had to. Good luck
