Who gets a roasting from the wife/girlfriend for talking on here and other sites to much and not spending time with them while they watch their crap shows on telly?

Hey Coach,

Not so sure it is a matter of being "a good one" some just need a little more interaction than others.

I certainly don't think I have a "bad one" :D

Cheers Noel

No Frigg'n way I'm watching that s***. I'd rather be out in the cold weeding the garden.

When the gym's quiet, I take as long as I need to review the posts.

My wife is great, after spending 12 hours at work she appreciates the fact that I need some wind down.

But I go hunting Saturday mornings before any one is out of bed, and get back as they are having breakfast, so I can spend as much time as possible with the wife and kids.

What takes the time is making arrows, new strings, tuning someone elses bow and researching items for the other archers that come to my gym.

She resents that time but never *****es to me about it, I just pick up the body language.

 A few good reasons for not complaining......

1: Peace and quiet in the evenings
2: Watch all the shows that husband says is crap ie.ABC,,,SBS
3:Takes the frustration and anger from a long work day out on you guys not me 8) 8)
4: Feels so guilty for neglecting the wife after all the time he spends on here,,he does nice things for you

Im getting back into archery because im much healthier fitter and can walk for hours on end without fail. also because god damn it i want to hunt the way my ancestors did back in ancient times.

Whens the next shoot?

Im buying some hiking boots too, i need them its damn steep.

I can also hit most any target with half decent accuracy and once its a little better i rekon id be able to get out there, the only problem is i have nowhere to hunt and no one to hunt with. i can understand my folks not wanting me to hunt alone. I could do it but you know how the olds can be. I also need some equipment (broadheads a decent knife, some decent hunting clothes. ive dropped like 10kg's too so less load to carry on my back.

Julie is pretty good about it considering it takes a fair bit of time to run this site.

I got a loptop with wireless internet so I could sit next to her while she watches her shows or take it to bed if she is reading etc.

Get the best of both worlds then
