Went out east yesterday afternoon to go to work on my uncles block (I"m a roo shooter) And i went out a bit earlier this time to see if there were still a few goats about. I diddn't even worry about camo as i would only have about an hour and a half and was not sure if i would see anything or not. Well i found a few mobs and stalked them from my ute. I tell you camo sure does make the difference as i got busted about 6 times even in the thickest scrub on the place! I followed them up and finally got within range. There were a couple billies around the 25-28 inch mark and there was this big shaggy billy with a really bad limp so i decided to try and take him. angled the shot through from 40m and he made it about 80m down hill. Good field practice for the deer with the 40m shots.
Well that was the best bit of my afternoon. while working got stuck in a ditch for 3 hours then only ended up with 11 roo's  But i guess you have days like that
Here is the billy, Note the nice red camo. Pic quality bad photo taken on my phone.
