These are some shots I took while up the range today, the rainy weather made for awesome color. Its my new recurve and I'm gettting plenty of practise everyday. The arrows are cheap carbons with 6mm dowel glued in it.

They look like advert pics
Now that's a bow..in case I missed them in an earlier post..what are the stats Adam :?: and re the "cheap carbons" thay also don't look to shabby..Is the Coach correct..if not..where from and how much :?: :?:
Upon closer inspection me thinks it might be a "Bear" takedown..hey Adam
Adam, you put your camera on Sepia for the bottom pic or do it via a computer program?
Yeah Fred bear t/d, they are the carbons from hoddywell. They seem pretty good so far had a bout 100 shots with them. They are bulked up with a 6mm dowel glued down the guts, prob making them stronger.
I think they were $5.50.
Axe it was with the camera setting, I,m loving the bow mate I had it out most of the day chasing pigs and shooting clumps.
I like this one aswell

on the camera subject adam, now youve had the fz for awhile now, what do you think of it? because im thinking of getting one, would have bought lukes but he wanted to much.
ped.
Yep excellent pedro all round great digital, slr's have more options if your gettign professional, like fish eye lens, wide lens, bigger zoom ect ect if you have the money. But i think for the money you can't beat it mate. Today I took 120 photos and everyone looks pretty good to me.

nother question adam. how long does the battery last, and can u charge it in the car. im a bit worried not being able to carrry spare batteries. espeacially on big hunts. weeks on end. the canons use aa type.
Pedro i have a canon and my work bought me a olympas. Both of these i have taken on week long hunts on one set of batteries. My mate has a sony and it is lucky to last a day. Both of mine take 4aa and the sony 2, i think this is were the problem lies. You can get chargers for aa etc for your car cigerette lighter **** smith should have them and as the saying goes 'you get what you pay for' especially in batteries.
Pedro the lumix comes with like a video camera battery and charger, the battery last around 340 photos or something and you can buy a car charger for it and spare battery.

Hi Lads,
I have a Fuji 5000s, it takes 4 AA's and lasts for ages. I use NiMH rechargeables they are the best I have found.
Great pics too Adam.

Pedro,
The reader plugs into the USB port on the puter, you then take the card out of camera & put into the reader (most can read several different types ie xd, sd, flash, compact, mmc, etc etc) saves you having to put all that camera software onto your puter.
Camera I will be using in the bush now is Fugi Finepix S5500, ( fell against a rock with Canon camera on my belt & smashed it)
Fugi uses 4 AA batts. & the fact it uses a XD mem card, gives it a very good battery life, 10 x Optical, 3.6x Digital, does everything, has most options found on my SLR's, but just like the SLR's, I still got to skin & gut any game I get :D
Got 512 mb SanDisk card ($130), & a Belkin 15 card reader ($55) plenty of card & a good reader :D
Pedro, just as an idea my camera with a 512mb card
The card at 4m/pixel set at the best quality= approx250pics, set at normal=500pics - set it at 2m/pixel=800pics :D

hi adam all trad bows are awesome. there is just something about them. i think it is the feel of the wood. :D
Might be wolfman its certainly something
Adam, as always, crap photos...
Can you please email me a high res version of the top one? I would love to do a poster print of that one down town and wack it on the wall. Awesome photography friend. The bigger the better!
Also, can you explain (with hopefully photos) when you have time how the Bear "A" riser hooks up to the limbs? I can work it out, I think, but a pic or 2 would help.
Again, awesome photos! And, you just beat me on that Bear! I was about to have a final crack at it when it was labbelled sold. Lucky....
I've got this pic in 5meg mate but email always strinks it to a small size, if someone can't tell me how to change this Ill send it too you on disc.
pm your address mate.
how much does it roughly cost to have a pic blown up to poster size :?:

Had a little hunt this morning (small property).
While I didn't see a living thing nor sign I still had a good little walk and pulled some goods shots off at stumps and grass clumps.
I had a ton of flu flu shots into mid air, listening to the flu flu come down around 60 meters in front was awesome, sounded like a fighter jet
Here's some pics.
Lucky 30 meter shot at stump
