Cool photo Adam.

I've been stung by an Aussie bush scorpion and it was the most painful sting or bite that I have ever had, mate did it hurt.

How'd you get stung mate and what part of the body.

I'm trying to find out on the net how deadly this type is.

I don't think it would've have been the same type as the one that stung me Adam as it came from west of Gundi and was only about an inch long.

It must have crawled into one of my shoes at the end of a hunting trip and I brought it home with me. The next morning when my then 2 year old daughter called out for breakfast I slipped my shoes on because it was winter and the tiles were cold and promptly got stung on the big toe. Within half an hour my whole leg was numb and I was in excruciating pain with an added feeling of being kicked in the guts, man was I crook. I was a bit worried so I went to the hospital and they told me that an Australian scorpian sting wouldn't kill me unless I had an allergic reaction to the venom, which I already knew, and they told me to wait.
After an hour of sitting in the waiting room, the pain started to subside so I went home. It took about a day and a half for all of the pain to leave and my big toe to resume it's normal size again. They are a nasty beastie:D
