bunny huntin

well dad promised he would take me out for a hunt today so he did we were driving along a a dirt road and dad told me there are alot of rabbits so i looked out and saw literaly hundreds so dad dropped me off and went and asked the property owner wile i sat in the paddock with my bow i saw 2 not 30m away and i couldnt help my self so i walked around a big black berry bush and a nice fat bunny hoped out 20m i wasted no time drawing back and settling my 20m pin on his chest i touched off my release aid to see the arrow fly true and smack him in the center of his body he tumbled along the ground and gave out a loud squill then kicked in to the bush but he didnt get far at all

dad came back and i held the rabbit up he gave me the thumbs up and the lady was happy for us to hunt some bunnys and said she want let any one else on except us because she new a relative so we can go there when ever we want i continued on and scaring literaly 100's of rabbits (no help wearing a white t shirt lol) but then i saw another nice bunny and i had an adder head i was wanting to try out so i stalked in and drew back settled my 20m pin and wack strait through him and into the blackberries with my arrow :evil: shoulld of stuck to my pups
but i was soon releaved when another one hoped in to view he squatted down and i could see his big ears sticking up so i loaded a gamegetter 2 with a pup on the end and settled my 25 meter pin on him and released to here whack, the rabbit didnt go any were well i dont think i would either with a head shot :lol: so i walked up to dad and he congradulated me again and then he took this pic

Jesse correct me if I am wrong, but are you saying you went and hunted on the property BEFORE you had permission to hunt there :?

no befor we entered a lady came out of the gate and it was her sister and she said yer go for it in the front paddock but she said ask my sister that lives here permently if you can hunt is the bigger paddocks

gday mate that bow was set on about 55pounds but that was probly a year or 2 ago now

i now shoot a 60lbs hoyt powertec but am now waiting for my 70lbs pse rogue to come in the mail =]

once you shoot one with a bow u get addicted i have taken around 120 now but they are bloody expensive critters to hunt with a bow but great fun
