G'day mates.
I just got back home from the Dallas PBR event and boy what a day it has been.
I was asked to go in and help out at the Bowtech Booth not thinking it was going to be all that busy but boy was I wrong after lunch we had our legs run off.
This is Pat Dinan and myself for those who dont know when you email a tech question to Bowtech Pat is the one who answers the emails.

Here is the booth and shooting lane we had set up we had roughly 200 people come in and shoot the bows with most of them never having shot a bow before.
These pics where taken before lunch while we still had some time to ourselves.

As you can see shorts where the dress code for the day as it was hotter than hell plus the humidity did not help either
I met up with a couple of the Aussie riders who are sponsored by Bowtech.
Brendon Clark and I spent about 15 minutes talking about living here and about the folks we both have back home,I asked him what bull he would be riding and wished him luck just before he left to do another promo gig.
A couple of minutes after he left a young lady came up and asked me to sign a release form as the chat between Brendon and I was taped for an up coming TV special so it looks like I am gonna get my 15 minutes of fame
Here are some of the riders just sitting around before the event, dont know if I would be as calm as these guys are knowing I am just about to try and sit on a 2,000lb bull who is doing his best to get me off his back.

Here are some of those bulls talking amongst themselves the different stratagies they are going to use to stomp the crap out of the riders

Before the riders where intoduced to the crowd a group of young men and women from Texas took their oath for the army.

These young men and women got a standing ovation and a lot of cheers from the crowd after they took the oath and left the arena.
Bowtech got a lot of good coverage in the arena from the overhead giant tv screens :D

For an Aussie Brendon got a huge and noisey ovation from the crowd when he was introduced, he is on the up as far as the standings go this year and is one of the crowd favourites.

Unfortunately I did not get any pics of the action as it just happens too fast unless you are riding the bull 8 seconds goes quick specially when you are trying to focus in on a bucking bull   :D
All in all I had a great day and met up with some really nice people.
I got Brendon and Tony Mendes to autograph my cap and will be sending the cap back home to my son.[/img]
