Well after about 20 shots I finally caught this fella on "Ragwort" weed/flower in New Zealand. They tell me it's a pest flower but it made for a fine pic.

this is a picture taken of mt buller we went 4x4ing up there last year and saw one very nice sambar stag while drinving stoped and had a bit of a watch as he slowely walked accross the road infront of us and watched him walk off into the distance. it is some very nice country up there to.

Could of had some nice pics of deer to, but with only 3x optical zoom I need a new camera :(

Not the biggest buck in the world but defiantly one of the best self timed photos I have ever gotten, also this is the longest shot I have ever nailed on a Fallow deer, he was silhouetting on the horizon in the back ground, and was taken with one arrow at a whopping 65 metres!

65m Pete! Well done, as Nike said "Just do it!" Here is a photo of my friends first decent Fallow Stag, shot over the Easter break when we were away for 5 days. I took the photo. The Deer was shot about 5 k's away and he was that excited he loaded it up into his ute by himself and drove it back to camp :shock:. I just finished measuring him last night, he scored 189 4/8 D.P. 8)
