View Full Version : Bling string
If you had or have a Bling String are you hapy with the performance?
Hi Pego,
I had a bling string on my switchback XT and it wasn't too bad at first. It didn't stretch at all and there was no peep rotation what so ever, but after a couple of months the serving on the cable near the cam wore through. I know this is a common problem with switchbacks, but imho the bling string is better than the matthews string.

I use nothing but and now we sell them
Reason i asked question is becausse i purchased new string (bling) and after tying a nocking point the serving separated.I used to use a Winners choice and i think i will be ordering another one.

Pego- good question, interesting responses. Yep, had the same prob as you currently have with my XT and Barracuda string. Presently, have many, many shots on a Winners Choice with minimal serving wear, very slight seperation on the peak of the cam, but nothing to worry about (and I'm very fussy). Would recommend them. However, like you, I've been keen to try Bling Strings... hmmm.

I bought a Bling after being very disappointed with the Winners Choice; serving wore through near the roller guard and started to unravel at the loop.
I have shot the Bling for about a month on my Apex7 target bow and I have had no problems with it, very nicely made product.
