Mates I tell ya I am estactic.
Went to a garage sale today and could not believe my eyes sitting there is a hardly used ride on lawn mower going for $5.
I asked the owner what was wrong with it and why he is letting it go so cheap.
Well as it turns out there was not a thing wrong with it even the blades where in good condition.
The only thing really wrong with it was the paint was a little faded from it being left out in the weather as he never had a shed to store it in.
I just had to ask him what his bottom price was and he turned around and said well I got it for the wife cause she always wanted a ride on but when I got it she would not use it so it has just been sitting there and for me to make him an offer.
Well me being cheap I offered him $2 and i could not believe it when he ok as long as it is cash.
I quickly opened my wallet and gave him 2 crispy $1 dollar bills.
We loaded the mower up in the back of my truck and off I went as happy as a pig in mud and he seemed happy to be rid of the ride on mower.
When I got home I ran inside and said to my wife guess what.
I just brought you a ride on mower for only $2.
Her reply was dont lie to me what idiot would sell a ride on mower for $2 so I told her the story.
I then went out and unloaded the mower from the truck, went in and said well come have a look at it.
Well to my surprise after she seen it said there is no way I will be able to operate that mower.
I said but why not darling you have always said you would mow the lawn if I got you a ride on so I got you a ride on and now your tellin me you are going to back out and leave the lawn mowing to me.
She then told me she thought that the mower might be a little on the under powered side for her.
What the hell does she want a 351 v8 lawn mower?
here is a pick of the mower do you guys think it would have enough power to mow my 1/4 acre block??
