I'm sure by now most of us are aware of Andrew Johns retirement from rugby leauge :cry: ,

its always a shame when a player of his quality is forced to
give the game up due to injury.
Being from Vic i don't get to see a lot of rugby but IMO the
man was a champion and one of the best to ever play the game

i think that he's been a burden for the management team at newcastle... i mean he's taken more games off in the last couple of years then he has played... hes accident prone!!!

not to take away from him though... he should definately become an immortal...

I am a league fan but already sick to death of hearing about him..I think the first 5 pages and the back 2 in the telly today were about him...People retire all the time..he's out,lets move on and look for another legend...

I reckon it is the worst decision anyone could make playing a game as pointless as rugby league with any kind of neck injury. Just goes to show how stupid some of those players are....
