I had had enough of work on Wednesday by about 2pm so decided to pack it up for the day.
On the way home I decided to have a look at an area not to far from home that I had never visited before for some prospective places to look for some game.

Well the first place I went to I got talking to the Lady of the Mannor.
After the intros, she promptly told me of a bad arse pig in the area. Well my eyes lit up and my ears pricked up as she went into the details about him and how long he's been there.

I asked her where would he be in the area. She gave me directions and said if he's still there you can take him.

Well before the initial excitment hard a chance to dissipate I was on my way with what seemed to be a toothpick in hand compared to how she had described the pig.

It wasn't long before I was out in the thick of it all and searching high and low for any sign of this Razor Back.
Not before long I had found what seemed to be his bedding area, with other animal sign near it.
After pushing my way past all the bits hanging in my way to get a clear view of his bed. The mighty pig had revealed himself and he was in my sights.
With a slight breeze in my face I moved to the left a little as he was broad side with his head slightly obscured by what I call cotton trees, but from what I had already seen of him he was in prime condition with a nice gingery sort of skin and a beautiful contrasting set of ivory for a pig of his size.

As I moved closer I thought nah your seeing things, but I wasn't he was there just like the lady had told me.
So with out hesitation the moment presented it's self. After my arm had dropped the realisation that he was mine was to much I began to shack. I had taken him with my first shot and he was there in my hands before I knew it.
And he was everything She had told me he was and I had imagined.
After I picked him up and headed back tot he front of the place. I told the Lady that I had found him and she was happy as a pig in mud. We exchanged the usual thankyou's and details and "I'll seeyou again soon"'s I was on my way home happy as a pig in........
I finaly had a nice set of ivory to put on the trophy shelf in my room at home.

Here's some pics for ya's
