Trophy Bowhunts

Well we just got back from a sucessful Chital trip for Ian from SA & John from NT.
All started slow but after some early days and a lot of unsucessful stalks it all started to come together on the last couple of days. The lads had seen and stalked some excellent Chital stags up to 32" but elusive is a word that springs to mind.
The weather was fine but the strong wind had made stalking difficult as the deer seemed to be very edgy and extremely jumpy (More than usual if that is possible).
So its a credit to the patience of the lads and they gained their first Chital Kills:-
