Preheat some oil in a large frypan or even better, a wok. Finely dice one or two onions and fry off.
Get whatever number of crabs that you are going to eat.
Split them down the middle, while still green, clean thoroughly and place in the frypan with the onions. I separate the claws and give them a crack so they absorb the marinade.
Give a liberal dose of chilli and garlic powder (also ginger if you like). Throw in a packet of terryarki paste, add a can of beer to provide the liquid for the steam to move the herbs through the crab. Sit on gentle coals and cover well, no steam to get out.
After about 10 minutes stir and taste, add more if needed.
After another 15 minutes the meal should be ready, crabs should be a nice red colour, meat cooked through. Remove from heat, get a cold beer and hook in.
