Today i went searching to purchase some archery mags.
I looked everywhere from southport to mudgeeraba and couldnt find any newsagent that sold them.

Does anyone know where i could purchase some mags from?
also is Australian Bowhunter Magazine still being made?

Cheers

I was going to suggest BDU and get it sent to your house, 8 bucks for a Desent archery mag is a deal in my books. I personaly find the american mags full of ads and things that dont do it for me. Archery action is another one, I like the stories and all but geez ad some glossy paper and some more pictures for petes sake.

If you have looked in the newsagents and not found any ask why they don't stock it. If they don't stock it because of the content, look around the shop to see if they stock soft porn such as picture magazine etc, or even any fishing magazines. If they stock these then the arguement over the content is obviously a lie.
Speak to the shop manager or owner and request that they stock the particular magazine that you are after. Don't take no for an answer, espcially if they do use the content arguement. Lets not have the small minded minority control what the public would like to read. We owe this to the magazine producers, especially local mags, and to let the public see what good bowhunting is doing.

No probs mate. I did at our local and managed to get some magazines in but not the broad specturm that I would have liked, but it was a start. It took a bit of convincing but only take it as far as you are comfortable going. Don't get yourself into to much trouble.

I did this and the owner ordered a bunch.
I ended up getting a years subscription though because they sold out as soon as they arrived and I couldnt get them to hold me a copy  .
They have since started stocking a few more hunting mags and most sell out...
