Ben Chambers and myself hunting Manuel’s property for 3 days by left not grassing anything, but camp and mateship was great and Pedro and Manuel took a few animals(billys and foxes)

The young buck filled the eskys and made for a great skin on the floor.
The venison dish I like to make while hunting.

Great photos Adam, I love the Traditional lads line up.
That dish sure looks like it would fill an empty belly after a hard days hunt. :D
Do you add any favourite herbs and spices?

That casserole looks like it would be awesome to return back to after a hard days hunting :)

Looks like a good time had by all. As said before,
it's great to see Pedro out enjoying his hunting again.
He has been quiet of late. Real good line of weaponary you boys have there as well.
Morning Sweet Morning
Heading out towards a grunting buck.

The buck making all the noise, he had 7 girls with him.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/bowhunting/deerrutroar2007182.jpg
A super accomplishment to myself, my 3rd traditional harvested buck. I called him into 12 meters when I spotted him annoying a large buck with does. bighorn custom bow, 750 grain arrow. He made little distance from the shot.

more to follow
Thanks everyone, yeah very easy dish to eat coming back into camp after dark. I put some Season All in it, or sometimes Smoky bbq marinate.
I toss it in the coals(or beside large camp fire) at lunch time if in camp so its ready to eat on return.
yep pedro's out there enjoying a good hunt still.
Adam
Sweet animal there Adam. I bet your hating being back over on the east coast ay

Great effort mate, love pics as always. That Fallow with the split palms is very common around Northern NSW. The last one i got was nearly exactly the same as his, not as big. The other one i am getting mounted at the moment as he does not have the split palm but is a touchbigger as well. Looks like you had a great time allright with some greatmates, thats what it's all about.

they are some of the best photos i have seen. it is so amazing seeing animals up close in their environment. congrats on the bucks.
thanks
good stuff adam & co :D looks like you had a great time :D
BEAR
Adam, they are some awesome bucks!! Hope you're good mates with a taxidermist!
Sounds like you had an awesome trip!
By the way, I think I've identified all the vegies you have in that venison dish but would you be willing to post the recipe? It looks awesome!
Jono.
Great pictures mate and a grate hunt too well done!
Can we see a bigger picture of the big fella, and was the other side as good as the one shown?
Hope you're good mates with a taxidermist!
I'm right into euro mounts at the moment, I've just done my 2006 trad buck and it looks great. But Ill be getting the big fella shoulder mounted not for his size as I've shot bigger but just for his charactor, I think he looks bigger then he is in the photos. I'd prefer a rough bush head like he is then a dead even head if you know what I mean. So yeah he'll defenatly take place on the hunting wall.
Greentree's 5 minute through together.
*couple of handfuls of venison(more meat then vegies if I can  )
*8 unpealed washed potatos
*8 unsliced tomatos
*20 unpealed unsliced mushrooms(come on people theres hunting to be done)
*good handful of sliced capicum
*8 unpealed washed sliced carrots
*some season all and dash of bbq sauce(or hickory sauce)
* 2 desert spoons of butter
*4 cups of water and cook real slow 6 hours if posible.
*if out of camp for a long period fill cook pot to about half way with water.
Oh and anything else around camp thats in reach can go in to(eatable of course  well thats what I do
Thanks guys, On closer inspection Pete he was missing a brow tine and both guards, not that It would have bothered me.
Ill go through my pictures see if I can find something clearer of that buck.
Adam
Top deer mate, taking full advantage of good numbers :D
Thanks Adam!
I love the unsliced, unpealed vegies. So easy and it'd be great for an empty stomach after a long day of walking and stalking (and hopefully shooting!).
Jono.
Gee's adam you really got onto them on this trip and that bloke with the cleff palm is a whopper. I'm really keen to take a deer like that as i have seen a couple running around and i think they would make a good mount. I really put my hands together for takng them with the trad gear. Be a long time until i chase a deer with anything but my compound. Again well done, pity you dont have too many over there in WA.
Macka
