View Full Version : GOULBURN GET-TOGETHER !!!

Ok fellas, after having so much fun at the Mudgee meet i've decided to host a Goulburn get together.

I have access to about 3000 acres near Goulburn and am willing to take members of this site out to my favourite property !!!

There will probably be hunting for a few, depending on numbers, but i will make sure there are plenty of target butts for us to plug away at and a place to just hang out with other bowhunters in the bush and have a good chin wag with...

I am looking at around a month or 2 from now (1st july) and can accomodate more campers than the site has members, yes it is camping!
There is plenty of firewood, though some help may be required dragging it to the fire.

Goulburn is about 2hours south of sydney, 1hour from canberra, a couple from bathurst and if your coming from the N.T. we'll see you in 2007 ;)

It's nothing formal, just a chance for us to get together and spin a few yarns.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers, Cam

Great fellas,
At this stage its at an early planning stage, with a few details to iron out. First of all i'd prefer a long weekend or it will have to be a meet at goulburn 8am saturday morn to atleast make the most of a 2day weekend.

Like i said early stages, but aiming for within a couple of months.
Will keep you all posted

Cheers, Cam

Right now any chance to get out of the house and away from my "old, old lady" would be great, esspecially if its to travel meet nice people shoot some arrows and finally pay you back for the beers at the novatel. Sounds great to me. I need to try and get more prepared for it though, find all my camping gear etc.

Well its my pleasure to announce that Jindy is the proud new owner of the "TBGA Dress" ... so perhaps Jindy and Axe could put on a fashion show for us all, afterr all they are both dual owners ;)

So you didnt get it razor? Its from the south park episode when they find out there is a universe full of evil versions of everyone, but evil cartman is in the good universe and if he doesnt stop saying hella so much they'll send him back to his own universe. There i dont really think hella is evil. I think its hella cool.

Please dont doubt the get-together, it will happen, i just ask for your patience (not that im getting grief of anyone).

I will hopefully put up a few dates shortly and we'll put it to a vote as to which weekend we choose.

Well, i just got off the phone with the property owner and it's all good. He wants me down there this weekend as there are tooo many goats.

Ok now for the nitty gritty. Who is coming? Which weekend would suit most? My first free weekend is sept 24/25 and any weekend thereafter.

Lets throw a few dates around to try to accomodate all who want to come.

The property is about 45 mins out of Goulburn, through Taralga. It will probably be meet at goulburn maccas at 8am on the saturday morning and convoy the rest of the way... we'll sort that out shortly

It's on boys! :D

Cheers, Cam
