Thought it might be a bit of an unusual/not so common bow as the Dren and some others may be a bit to obviouse.

Try again he says OK.

hold on hold on a second.........is this a trick question?

Is it going to be a compound or a trad bow????

rinaldo

Its a compound and I had an offer I couldn't refuse so I sold the bow, therefore no bow no hunt. Not a Cardiac. No beer. Its not a pretty bow.

the new PSE Smile

I owe the man a beer. Yes the PSE X-Force 29"draw 60 lbs IBO 350fps and ugly as sin. There is something very appealing about it, a mean looking bow.

Brent, mate, of course it's going to look good in that vid - it's made by PSE ;)

Good onya Rin! Likewise, I am very keen to know your impressions. As many will recall, PSE produced some top of the line bows in the '80s...
Have you owned a PSE before? Last one I had was a Phaser II! :x

Don't worry Jeffro the PSE is noisy and also difficult to press thats why the Cardiac has got the nod. Thanks for the PMs.

The bow arrived today and I have put it together, man what a sweet bow to shoot really smooth, quiet and holds really well on the target. I shot at 60meters today and punched the center out of the target. For all the guys coming on the group hunt you can have a shot and then be prepared to trade in your bows..... you have been warned. :D :D

Whilst on the Ross Thread, here is a couple of pics of mine and a mates '37.
Mine is the Grey or Elanor as I like to call her, reminds me of the 67 Mustang from the re-make of Gone in 60seconds. Mates bow is Rinaldos ex '37, however we changed the limbs out on this one, to give a Camo Riser with the Grey limbs that match the cam setup..........looks nice!!!

what happened to the good old days when evreyone would up to the target and find a tree or a bit a grass to rest their bows on.. must be these new fancy bows are to good for the dirt and demand a stand or they won't perform......................

I shot my bow back to back with a Bowtech Guardian today and IMHO the Ross Cardiac is head and shoulders above the Bowtech , sorry Adam
In all departments the Ross comes out in front. :D

No comp mate, Johnno and I went and visited Adam K at his office because we wanted to compare bows and have a look at the cam lean on the Guardian. Johnno wanted to try both bows so while we were there we shot into a phone book we took about 6 shots with the Guardian and it penetrated well into book while the first and only shot of the Cardiac with same arrow used out of the Guardian shot through to the other side of the telephone book and timber board behind  . Both were set at 60lbs the Cardiac was much easier and smoother to draw than the Guardian it the Guardian is much more aggressive and rough in the draw. The Cardiac was set at 29" of draw and the Bowtech was set to 30".

Game set and match Cardiac.

Rin,

The shot from the Ross, where you now claim the 'penetration victory' may have been assisted by the fact that you shot through the same hole the Guardian kept putting the arrow through (single hole grouping by Guardian!). It was good to see you got your eye in for an accurate shot with the Ross by shooting my Guardian THROUGH THE FLOOR OF MY OFFICE, SLICING THE CARPET, SMASHING YOUR ARROW, AND LOSING THE FIELD TIP UNDER THE CARPET UNDERLAY...... There goes the bond money!

Inherant brand rivalries aside, your bow is nice, and was delivered free of defects. Chalk one to the Ross there.

As for the penetration test, we aint done.

Oops....now rest assured old buddy.. I was NEVER..going to mention that !!   so the Ross may be deadly on the bunnies....but the Guardian is sure hell on the axminster.. :D :D
