Thanks to Marcus for the link. Hoyt and Bowtech went well, I would think again about an Elite, did not go well.

Interesting results...particularly the Parker bow (Does anyone shoot one of these).
One of the more surprising results is the Elite. I've been hearing so much about these bows lately, but it appears that what I've heard is pure hype. From the results, the Elite is quite mediocre in most categories...and is a downright piece of @#$% in others.
I'd be asking a lot of questions before buying one of these bows.

It's funny how these tests show up different bows.
I have seen the Elite and shot it and can't place it any worse than say the Vectrix for anything including finish etc.
The new Ross bows are very nice

Heard that the new Elite Envys were not reaching there advertised speeds so they had to be sent back and have the cams replaced. An extra $400 for a bow that might do 350fps.

What I find interesting is that they do a lot of the subjective testing blindfolded...which has resulted in some of the less trendy/high profile bows scoring quite well...such as the Ross and Parker.
Also interesting, the APA Black Mamba didn't seem to score well...that's a surprise! HA HA!!
As I was saying before, I can't imagine the appeal of the Elite...it's basically a Bowtech knock-off that's become popular among the trend-chasing monkeys of the Australian archery scene. Just my two cents.
