Well I«ÉŸve been lucky and given a 21m gift this year not to bad! And the rut hasn«ÉŸt even started down our way yet, seen a buck a bit better that this a week after I shot this fella but who ever looks a gift horse in the mouth!

Hey!

It was the easiest spot and stalk on a fallow deer I have ever had! Just right amount of cover to conceal myself from him and his mate and very minimal ground litter to make an easy and very quite stalk to where the two bucks were feeding as I simply stalked to a group of tree«ÉŸs between me and them and waited till a shot presented it self though the trees.

The luck of the gods was all with me that arvo, I bet I«ÉŸll be working my butt off the rest of the season just to get half that close.
