Man I just had the best week, I spent 6 glorious days in the Basalt Region of Queensland Being outsmarted by Chital deer at every turn.
The trip started with a couple of flights and a couple of hours driving .I was fortuneate to have Graham Cash as my guide for the week as the only deerhunting I had done was on TV .The full story is Going in the Mag but this is a condensed version.
This trip was packed full of firsts
First time in QLD,
First time on a payed for Guided hunt,
First Stalk on a chital Stag ,
First time in a tree stand ( fell asleep and nearly fell out the tree  ) First siteing of a dingo and shooting at it ,
First Boar Taken ,(The Jillaroos nicknamed it Entre`)
First time I have walked for 6 day's straight and not complained

I went with no expectation's on this trip because there are no garantee's in bowhunting but I learned so much and if there was a spot I would be back there tomorrow. If you think you are a good hunter I challenge you to take these awesome Deer on they are defineately smarter than this hunter.
I have more Pic's but They are still in Cashy's Camera so these will have to suffice for a While

The Basalt is a fantastic place to hunt, with all of the Chital deer some mornings you could almost think you are in another country. Looking foward to seeing the rest of your photos...Glenn...

Clinton, that's a nice looking bow you have there, is it a Fox Breed take down, or something like that?...Glenn...

The Longbow is a T/D but I don't know what type it is .The fox recurve that I have is called the Breed. They are awesome bows and I love the slight reflex on the tip of a longbow.

Nice work clinton!!

Glad to hear that it went well (apart from the no deer thing). Chital are (from what i have heard) in a different league....

As for falling out of the tree stand  if you'd been in a harness you'd have looked like a camo'ed up pinyata ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz :P

Treestand = Death From Above. Except if you fall out of one, then the whole context of the statement changes...
Congrats on the grunter.
