As club sexytary (I've got nice hairy legs) of Brisbane City 3D Archers (3DAAA club), I have been asked by a number of visitors to hold an indoor 3 spot competition. Would love to but we cannot unless there is sufficient numbers to fill at least 2 adult categories - bowhunter and free style unlimited.
So who wants to play? Don't worry if your target archery is not at its best; it's all for fun. I have always believed that in archery, you are only competing with yourself. So it does not matter what others score, so long as you know that you have done well by your standards, that's all that matters.
Anyway, I have posted my club's details up on the club information section of this forum. Hope to get lots of feedback from you all. With sufficient numbers we will organize a day and have a crack at FITA style shooting. You can contact me at 3359 9210 if you like more information.
Participants must be 3DAAA members, otherwise a temporary insurance coverage costin $12 per person would be added to nomination cost which I expect to be around $15 per person. Sorry about the temporary insurance thingy, we have to abide by 3DAAA's rules. So don't let this put you all off.
