This is one way of attaching string silencers of the rubber Cats Whisker variety to your string.There are other ways but this is the way I like to do it so I thought i'd share it with members.
Step 1
Fold the strip in half like this

Roll it up

Step 3
Have some string material from an old string or some dental floss prepared with a knot.I just use a normal granny knot but I loop it through 3 times instead of 1 time.It stops it coming undone easy.
Put the folded in half, rolled up silencer into the knot in the middle and tie it up.

Step 4
Measure your sting so that you have the quarter points marked.Measure between the points where the string touches the limb when the bow is strung.Then take the string off and put the tied silencer bundle into the string
at the marked quarte points.Put it between the string bundles and with the loose ends from the bit you used to tie the silencer in a roll,use them to tie knots around the string itself before cutting the remainder off.As shown in the picture.Apply some glue like fletch tight to the knot to stop it coming undone.

Step 5
Cut the rubber strip in the ends that are folded and the put the string back on the bow.That will tighten the string around the silencer so that you can then pull the ends of the silencer to allow it to all spread apart without actually pulling bits completely out of the string
