deer slayer

Just wondering if anyone has had anything to do with the Samick Deerslayer and what you think of them??

Yeah Sparra I've used a deer slayer. I think it is the same bow as the talon. Shot pretty well just like all the Samicks do and you can't beat the price. It is one of the cheaper samicks and you can tell when it comes to the little things like one pin and a bolt to align the limbs with no corresponding bush just a hole in the limb which tends to wear and get sloppy. But they look good and perform well and my mate has been using one for a couple of years and loves it.

I made the same offer on Ozbow (in my alter ego as dartonian)... I just bought a new Samick Talon Hyper. Same as the deerslayer but has rosewood in the riser & looks a bit more spesh (to me anyway) Im on the south coast NSW as I think you may be too... so if you want a first hand look and a shot or two let me know.
