hey mate .. i live near ballina about 2 hr's from coff's.... i have been looking in to the coffs area for a bit off hunting.... not much around here were i am have been told there is a lot of deer in the forest out that way and i no for a fact there is a lot off wild brumbies in the state forest NORTH of coff's
just about to do up a 4wd so i can get down that way soon to have a look
i no that the game council has a forest or 2 in that area u just have to get your game license........... and there is a 3d club there to can get the info for that if u want ???

You have 2 really good state forests right near Coffs. There are so many pigs there and they are really big! Get your license and get out there. Its so far for me otherwise Id be there every weekend.

Also been told of deer around here. Been out in the 4WD a bit sussing areas but its pretty thick forest this way (and steep!!) Been up north and seen the brumbies close up. Three of the buggers feeding 20m from the 4wd!! Looked too tame to me.......

the deer are ment to be in orara west state forest and orara east state forest i am hopeing to get down that way soon to have a look as well

cool, ill check it out soon and let you know if i get there soon. What about the 3d club? never shot 3d but would give it a go. dosent stack up to a stalk but hey, good practice!!!!!
