righto....i thought they where legal in certain parts cause there are so many that they declared it legal
i could be wrong though
You can hunt roo's with permission at Puckpunyal, how ever your chances are low since they are shooting them with military rifles because they just swarmed on the armies training base, and i doubt they'd let anyone just walk in with a bow and shoot them.
It is illegal to hunt a kangaroo with a bow in any state.. it is illegal with any gun unless you have a licence to hunt them. Macka will know all the facts as he is a pro shooter.. Do not even look at them sideways with a bow in your hand....

Lol, now i get told you can hunt roo's with bows. I had an episode 2 weeks ends ago where a big red kangaroo chased me when i was on a rabbit hunt at my aunties property in seymour, i ran down the valley across the river and he cahsed me and i took cover in a fallen down tree area ready to draw on it if it came up the hill but never did.
If i knew it was legal i woulda drew and shot it right through with my classy thunderheads ;)

100% Illegal to shoot roos here in SA unless you have a permit and reason to shoot them and even then it may only be done using an suitable calibre rifle.
As for other hunting her in SA
There are goats pigs and deer (mainly fallow)
CougerKing are you looking for a pay to hunt place?

yeah I got one good place. unfortunatly for you I'm not permitted to take others there.:(
There is always 'WaterValley' int he South east of SA. But have heard mixed reports on the quality of game on there at the moment as well as the service.
I have one huge place with heaps of goats but I have to be there if anyone else is to go there (land owners rule)....and with my current family issues I doubt even I will be able to get out there before the new year.:(
Not sure of any other pay to hunt places.
There are others here in SA which I will let them comment on places to hunt if they are prepared to and allowed to take others.
