View Full Version : Pics of my Fallow Mount.
Well it diddn't take long at all really. I Shot my first fallow stag with a bow pre rut this year and it was a good un thats for sure so i decided to get him shoulder mounted. Merv Rabig from Quorn did the job and it only cost me about $4:50 and i payed $50 for a cape the same as he was. So he ended up only costing about 500. He's a beaute stag and Merv did an awsome job with him. I keep thinking its going to jump out the wall at me. He's taken pride of place in the kitchen.
Final score from a bloke from ADA was 212 4/8
Here are some pics.

Looks good on the wall Casey. Ratbag must've been a bit quiet to get it done that quick, my taxidermist took 7 months:eek:. Here's hoping you get a bigger one next year;).

Dale, i got mine in pretty early to merv before he got all the heads taken during the rut and only took a couple months. He's flat out now though atm as when i picked mine up he had a heap on the go.
