gday guys couldnt stand the smell of my fox skin so i put some soapy warm water on the fur and rubbed it in ,wile the skin is damp i was wondering if theres anything in the house that you can use to tan it i herd somthing about bicarb soda but wats is the rest
any other help will be great thanks jesse

bi carb and kerosene. mix the 2 together till they form a paste and then rub it into the skin

Hey mate, you have to remember to keep it dry before tanning, As the wet will cause the hair to slip. I hear you can use Kerro, and Bi carb but do not know the ratios, it works well on thin skins.

ok thanks guys i dont have any kero
but i was thinking of mixing hot waater with bicarb soda into a paste and apllying it

I believe just a lot of salt and a brick rubbed and rubbed and rubbed over the skin will work well.

If I recall, that's what Adam does to his fox skins.

Do a search mate it's been talked about heaps on here before.
