i was out fox whistling about 30mins ago when a really big rabbit came running towards me, it was a rabbit not a hare because there isn't any hares in my area. it came into about 6-7 metres but i missed because it got to dark, there was fur on my arrow but no blood. i think it came to the call because i was standing over a rabbit warren that has kittens in it and the rabbit was probably one of the parent's coming to its kitten in destress...what do you think? its on film but i dont think you i will be able to see much as it was dark for the camera.

cheers dan.

A rabbit will sometimes poke their heads out of their burrows when you are whistling for a fox, probaly checking for danger. Its always worth a try to give a couple of quick blows when near a warren. Howie
