well over the weekend... twin city archers gippsland and macedon ranges archers joined up and shot a 2day 3DAAA.... we managed to hire out a quarry and shoot 30 targets on the first day and 20 the next... we only had probally 40 people turn up but it was by far the best 3D shoot i've ever seen... some of the shots were to hard and realistic we had herds of deer in forests, crocs and boars in swamps, goats and bighorns in mountain areas...everkind of thing you could think of.....

plus over the two days i managed to spot 2 nice sized hares... (ill need to ask around a bit..)

has any1 heard much about it...or any1 go..?

Hey Evil Taco, Yeah I was there mate, the guys at Twin Cities yet again put on a great show. For those interested at improving their archery while shooting at 'life like' game, these events are invaluable. Shame we did not catch up for a chat, then again we probably did and don't even know it..

yer mate we probally did meet... where u in the top 10 shoot off on the first day...? if so i was on the hill aswell... i remember seeing a few urban archery t-shirts up there.....

Yeah I was the guy in the Urban t-shirt/top ten, good to hear you enjoyed yourself. Might catch you at the next shoot.

yer mate sounds good, and wazza trykon i shot under 16's in YMR (youth, male, release) and my scores for the both days were......
crap lol
can't remember exact score but nothing special... if u ask me iits not bout the score more for the fun and social event....

dam straight it is mick!! lol still is nice once in a while to get a placing...even if its first on one...its still confidence.....yer we shot YMR and i ended up with 210 first day and 133 next day so....343 overall which was pretty good for my second proper 3D shoot...yeah DS evil taco and i are members of twin city so there is a good chance we did talk to ya! lol:P what bow do you shoot DS?

Yeah we stayed the night, we were the crazy buggers that did not know when to stop shooting the indoor.:)

lol, i wish i could shoot that long.... i get tired pretty quickly.. atleast compared to u guys...how was that last shot on the 2nd day... pretty high angle shot...?

hahaha yer that was a nice shot! ...i got a 5...but atleast i diddnt miss like someone else i know! ;) lol hahaha....yer u guys shot for ages....i couldnt do that ans keep my score good for that long if i tried! lol:P...loved hat commander by the way! how are they to shoot?

The Commander is a nice bit of gear,it a pleasure to shoot. Yeah that up hill deer shot was testing thats for sure. You guys will have to try and make it to some of the other shoots that are coming up. This 3d game will help you hunting in more ways than you think. I only wish I had got into it a lot earlier, it really is worth the effort.

yer for sure...i love the 3D...only thing is that we usuially find out too late to get time off work ect....if you here of one and wouldnt mind PM me...that wuld be awsome!
