funnily enough i have been on two hunting trips durin the holidays and we whistled up a fox both times. we could see the first one and kissed him up (if you no what i mean), i shot but the fox was turning as i shot because it seen brad who was kissin and the arrow flew parrallel along side him:(. And the second one we could smell and decided to stop and have a whistle, the bloody thing came into about 12 yards and seen us before we seen him and he was off again.;)

Yes
Mate I shot one a few weeks ago that was attracted to the kissing noise I was making while feeding the possums in my back yard.
Last night I had two foxes walking in a paddock about 70m from me and I called them into about 40m where they just sat and and tried to locate the position of the sound but would not come any closer.
Cheers

Why not try, it doesnt hurt to try. Find a good area with some rabbits and give it a bell.

Foxes are more interested in mating this time of year. If you can hear them barking just on dusk, give two quick toots on a small glass bottle to answer their call. They will come in just as well as with a whistle.
they are oppertunistic, If they haven previously been educated on the whistle i have no doubt they will come in
Breeding season affects the foxes response to the whistle, but in speaking to a few hunters in the last week, they are still getting results. Always worth a try. Howie
Beauty, ill be trying .ive got 2 freshly made tenterfields + a button whistle
